Daughter of King Henry VII
Mary Rose Tudor was the youngest daughter of King Henry VII of England and Elizabeth of York. She was born March 18th in the year 1496. It was said of Mary Rosethat she was the most beautiful princess in all of Europe.
She had two older brothers and one older sister. Her oldest brother, Arthur, died when Mary was 5 years old. Her sister Margaret became Queen of Scotland the year Mary turned 7. Mary Rose's other brother, Henry, would later become King Henry VIII of England.
